Cheonmyeongdang (hereinafter "the Company") values the personal data of its users and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act.

1. Personal data items we collect

The Company may collect the following personal data in order to provide the Service.

Saju analysis: date of birth, gender (only when entered, not stored on the server)
Face reading / palm reading analysis: photograph (deleted immediately after analysis, not transmitted to the server)
On payment: name, contact number, email address (for payment processing purposes)
Customer enquiries: name, contact number, email address, content of the enquiry

2. Purposes of collecting and using personal data

Providing fortune services such as Saju, face reading and palm reading
Processing payments for paid services
Responding to customer enquiries
Service improvement and statistical analysis (processed in a non-identifiable form)

3. Retention and use period of personal data

The Company destroys personal data without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved.

Saju / face reading / palm reading input data: not retained after the immediate analysis (processed on the client side)
Payment information: retained for 5 years under the Electronic Commerce Act
Customer enquiries: retained for 1 year after the response is completed

4. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

The Company does not provide personal data to third parties without the user's consent. Exceptions apply where disclosure is required by law.

4-1. Outsourcing of personal data processing

To provide the Service smoothly, the Company outsources personal data processing tasks to specialist external providers as set out below. In the outsourcing contracts, the matters required by the Personal Information Protection Act are stipulated so that personal data is managed securely.

5. Procedure and method for destroying personal data

Electronic files: permanently deleted by a method that makes recovery impossible
Paper documents: shredded using a document shredder

6. Rights of the user

Users may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data.

7. Advertising information and cookies

The Company may display advertising through Google AdMob, and advertising identifiers may be collected in this process. Users can limit ad tracking in their device settings.

8. Refund policy and cooling-off period (Refund & Cooling-off)

In accordance with Article 17 of the Electronic Commerce Act, users may request a refund under the following conditions:

Standard refund (digital content not yet provided): 100% refund if the content has not been downloaded or viewed within 7 days of the payment date.
Standard refund (digital content already provided): because of the nature of digital content, refunds are restricted once the content has been downloaded or viewed (Article 17, paragraph 2, item 5 of the Electronic Commerce Act). However, a refund may be requested within 14 days if the content is different from how it was displayed or advertised.
Subscription service (monthly membership and similar): if you cancel before the next billing date, billing stops from the following month. The month already billed is not eligible for a pro-rated refund (exception: 100% refund within 7 days of the first charge if the service has not been used).
Offline meeting / consultation service: 100% refund if cancelled 24 hours before the meeting, 50% refund if cancelled within 24 hours of the meeting, 0% in the case of a no-show.
Bundle / package (Mega Bundle, Lifetime and similar): 100% refund if requested within 14 days of purchase and download / streaming use is below 50%.

How to request a refund: send an email to ghdejr11@gmail.com from the email address used for the payment, including your order number and the reason for the refund. We reply within 3 business days and process the refund within 7 days.

9. Dispute resolution

Disputes relating to the use of this service may be settled free of charge through mediation by the Korea Consumer Agency (1372) or the Electronic Commerce Mediation Committee (ecmc.or.kr). If mediation does not resolve the dispute, the Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance.

10. Notice of new applications

When new Cheonmyeongdang applications (insurance / tax / subsidy and similar) are launched, a separate privacy policy will be published as an appendix, applying the same level of protection as this policy.
